Well it's Saturday morning 14th February and I thought I better add to my bog. I'm trying to get better at this. On Thursday I told the childen about the course I had been on and that we were going to change our topic for the next half term and look at the Arctic instead. We are now in the process of adopting a polar bear.

As I had an ICT lesson on Thursday the children all made very creative movies using digital blue. They have all taken their films home to show their parents.

I really wanted to start the topic and get in under way by reading the letter to them but unfortunately I had to go to a transition meeting on Friday morning and I did not want to get the children fired up too soon before the half term break.

I am just going to start rewriting my planning foor the next hlaf term. Worryingly I am quite excited at the prospect and can't wait for next half term when I can get the topic under way. The chlidren have already come up with ideas to incorporate into the planning.

Wednesday 11th February

Today we finished our training. Using movie maker was fine. I was totally familiar with the package and the animation package as well. The blog and the wiki were a nightmare! I know I'll get into it more as we progress. I've altered my Wiki and feel better about that. I'll share that with the children tomorrow.
